There were always more saloons than any other business. I think the cribs for the prostitutes came in second. I wouldn't suggest you do a search for those.Tattered and Losthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00208918251232477186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37291817.post-50273667222604280132013-06-02T01:16:11.224+01:002013-06-02T01:16:11.224+01:00Happy to see you Alan! cheers!!Happy to see you Alan! cheers!!Gloria Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03055543111865966546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37291817.post-87530131822099163092013-06-01T20:33:05.549+01:002013-06-01T20:33:05.549+01:00There must be lots of stories around those pubs! There must be lots of stories around those pubs!Jenny Woolfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16881781466502273314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37291817.post-1511186867131427582013-06-01T19:07:31.819+01:002013-06-01T19:07:31.819+01:00Ahoy Alan. You recall our old house in Old Mill Valley - there were at least four pubs in that sparsely populated valley the C19. I wonder if the large number of pubs was due to the lack of clean water or in deed pepsi max or Evian.<br />Also I noticed a serious omission form your intro profile, past lecturer bus conductor, - sailor and mountaineer were missing.
