That door on the right, probably the entrance to the living quarters upstairs, is sealed up, and some interesting bit of roof added where the third chimney used to be. When I got home I discovered it was only brewed in your lovely country, (a private family brew not imported to my lovely country) until oh my goodness, I about jumped out of my chair in a new restaurant the other day, I think it's on their menu. But they were out of it, although I learned some liquor stores that carry imported beer have it. 4 bottles for $9.99 so I hope it is the right stuff. Oh it's name? I think it's Samuel or Sam Smith?? Have you had it? Do you know it? I had the darker color, ale style in England.21 Witshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00071361755673253230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37291817.post-87636440160418051392013-09-03T14:24:05.793+01:002013-09-03T14:24:05.793+01:00What a great piece of history! :)What a great piece of history! :)Far Side of Fiftyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07995757632158408442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37291817.post-3564318182769660482013-09-03T13:23:31.980+01:002013-09-03T13:23:31.980+01:00huh it would be pretty cool to live in an old pub ...huh it would be pretty cool to live in an old pub house....surrounded by all the stories that once bent an elbow there....sad though to see it gone...and i hope the stories are not lost with it....Brian Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00722940075884718007noreply@blogger.com
