It's been a long time since I heard "My Old Man", so it was nice to hear it again. And "The Manchester Rambler" is always a delight to listen to, and is a good reminder that Ewan MacColl isn't appreciated nearly enough on this side of the Pond. After all, the man was Great Britain's version of Woody Guthrie, writing songs and influencing musicians for generations and keeping the social action movement alive.Royhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01648670975466222140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37291817.post-71269457018230102712011-03-28T14:08:55.870+01:002011-03-28T14:08:55.870+01:00nice. i enjoyed the manchester rambler...you are e...nice. i enjoyed the manchester rambler...you are exposing me to new influences...Brian Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00722940075884718007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37291817.post-45590838378942428472011-03-28T10:15:38.704+01:002011-03-28T10:15:38.704+01:00What are the chances that two of the blogs that I ...What are the chances that two of the blogs that I follow should quote the lyrics from that song, "It ain't necessarily so ..." in the same week.Brett Paynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07706734864792449845noreply@blogger.com
