Though they are likely brothers, they might not be, and presumably some combination of parents escorted them and acted as their agent. Given the number of instruments, just packing up all the banjos, cellos, mandolins, etc. was quite a chore and must have required several large trunks. The Cimbalom (a hammered dulcimer) on the center table is not a typical instrument for English music.
