Although I have experience of fire, I'm grateful I've never been in a situation where I had to be carried to safety.

ReplyDeleteLove the old photos. All our family come from Sheffield; Owlerton, Neepsend and Hunters Bar. That's from around 1900 until my grandmother died in mid-60s.

ReplyDeleteThanks for all the comments. John : We lived in Sheffield for about twelve years and our son was born there. He is now back there at University.
ReplyDeleteWow...actually, the training still includes this excercise, but they use life-size dummies...at least over here! :)
