Risk Assessment

What a strange world we live in at the moment: in semi-isolation, measuring distances with our eyes, assessing risk with every move. A walk in the woods provides a degree of relief, but even there we are nervous of the chance touch of a stray branch.

  1. I've brought home food prepared in a local Chinese restaurant. The 2 Asian men running it were concerned when I was wearing a mask...was I alright? I explained I cough all the time, and didn't want to worry people. They gave me big smiles. So far I've been the only person I've seen in a week wearing a mask.
