Last week I stumbled upon this YouTube video and thought of you, Alan. https://youtu.be/eIrfwChQkxQ It's entitled: January 1902 - Visual tour of a snowy, cold Halifax, England (with added sound VERSION 1). The opening might show this same valley. The film was made from a moving tram and shows the mills and hundreds of people on the streets of Halifax. I've watched it twice.
