I'm not sure exactly where or when I took this photo, but - this is a Halifax roof. Unconventional, different, with a twisted sense of humour. Well worn, hard worked - but as strong as a stone quarry.
Some people read the paper, some try and understand the meaning of life, George II and Elvis Presley both died there .... and photographer...
I believe the roof is overlooking Boothtown along the road that leads from Claremount and then makes its way down to the Shiden Mill Inn. I used to walk this road during my lunch hour when I worked in Swift's drawing office.
