By Special Request : Introducing Amy

The Daily Connoisseur asked to see a picture of Amy (soft-coated wheaten terrier, licks a lot, thoroughly beautiful and stupid as duct tape). Here is one I just took this morning. If she is looking slightly impatient it is because she is waiting to go for her first walk of the day. As far as she is concerned, blogging is of secondary importance to our exploration of the smelly highways and byways of West Yorkshire so therefore I must be on my way!

  1. Amy is gorgeous, Alan, and I do believe I could see her impatience to be out and about.

  7. Yay! Thank you for sharing her with us... she is delightful. I wonder what she would think of my dog Gatsby. He is a Chihuahua/ Dachshund with a particularly regal disposition.

  10. I once knew a roll of duct tape that was exceptionally sharp, capable of understanding GCSE-level maths and even able to perform elementary calculus. But yeah, on the whole duct tape rolls are pretty thick.

  12. Amy is such a beautiful dog. She is smart enough to have you under control. I know she is great company and looks like a good nature dog. Thanks for sharing. Some days my border collie has me wondering if he has a clue. Then I remember I am the one waiting hand and foot for him.

  14. I guess this beauty has one over on you. You're taking care of her needs and it doesn't cost her a cent. I would take her in a minute.
