A weekend to remind me that some of the best things in life are free. A walk in the park and a stunning display of blooms. Watching performers at the pub karaoke and realising that natural talent need not be offset by professional posturing. The satisfying pint of beer wasn't free : but you can't have everything.

ReplyDeleteI like the little clump of purple flowers right dab in the middle of the marigolds.
ReplyDeleteThat's all so very true, and I bet the pint almost seemed cheaper because everything else was free :)
ReplyDeleteI wish 'the best things in life are free' was a more modern concept. We seem to be forgetting.
ReplyDeleteTruer words were never written. And I second Dot's comment.
ReplyDeleteThe best things in life are free for now, but you can bet there's a big multinational somewhere that's working on it! :)
