Frost From Nowhere

There was a heavy frost last night. As I walked Amy down the road this morning the frost had painted patterns on the wall. The incorporated frozen fern shows that it is possible for nature to improve on nature. I only had my mobile phone with me, but it didn't do a bad job. And when I got home I couldn't resist adding a link to the car windscreen. Maybe I will turn it into a new header for the Blog.

  5. Hello Alan:
A heavy frost does make everything look so very magical. Your fern image is so pretty and the icy script looks a perfect idea for a wintry header!!

  6. Great header idea, Alan...I love your inspirations. It snowed here yesterday and I too was looking at frosty ferns, which I found oddly resembled starfish. Didn't get a photo though. Maybe today!

  8. It does look pretty darn cool, but you guys can keep your snow.
We're supposed to be up to 70 today here in Oklahoma, but I suspect we will pay dearly come summer.

  12. Nicely captured. It always looks so pretty; it’s a pity it has to be so cold before it can be created. I really don’t miss that.

  13. Great photos! The wind shield shot would make an awesome header.
But wait a minute! Cold? It's minus 28 here tonight and getting colder. No pretty pictures here. It's a very dry cold.

  14. I so agree too, what a cool idea! Funny how one simple photo taken randomly can later become something so special!
