THE ROCK TAVERN QUIZ : JANUARY 2014
I know many regulars like to join in with the Rock Tavern Quiz so I hope to be able to feature one a month during the year (as long as I can get to win the occasional one and thereby compose the questions for the following week). Are we expected to post our answers or do you trust us?
ReplyDeleteI trust you, of course.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!
ReplyDeleteI knew you would like it John. What I particularly like is the idea that, if you win, you have to come on over here to Yorkshire to pick up your prize. It would be nice to meet over a pint after all these years.
DeleteDoesn't this interfere with the drinking?
ReplyDeleteGood gracious me, no. Nothing interferes with the drinking.
DeleteI need a partner to get through round 3
ReplyDeleteWell, what are you all waiting for? Volunteers needed.
DeleteNo no! I wrote my answers down at lunchtime WITHOUT resorting to t'internet and the scrappy bits of paper are safely in my handbag.
DeleteA fun post. How do you know no one is asking Mr Google for the answers?
ReplyDeleteI trust the world implicitly Diane.
DeleteGreat fun! I copied and printed it out, tough questions! Some of those answers are on the tip of my tongue. I will await the correct answers. Is your Monopoly different from ours? :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it will be even tougher for people not from this country - and indeed not from Yorkshire. You can't be expected to know what our monopoly board is like, but it is just for the fun if it (and for a pint, which you will note, has to be collected in person)
