I know many regulars like to join in with the Rock Tavern Quiz so I hope to be able to feature one a month during the year (as long as I can get to win the occasional one and thereby compose the questions for the following week). Here is last week's. There will be a prize of a free pint of beer (to be claimed in person from me at the Rock Tavern, Elland) to whoever gets the best score.     1. I knew you would like it John. What I particularly like is the idea that, if you win, you have to come on over here to Yorkshire to pick up your prize. It would be nice to meet over a pint after all these years.

  7. Great fun! I copied and printed it out, tough questions! Some of those answers are on the tip of my tongue. I will await the correct answers. Is your Monopoly different from ours? :)

    1. Yes, it will be even tougher for people not from this country - and indeed not from Yorkshire. You can't be expected to know what our monopoly board is like, but it is just for the fun if it (and for a pint, which you will note, has to be collected in person)
