Laughing It, Playing It

A picture of the first house we owned. It is the second house down, the one with the car parked outside - although it wasn't our car. Isobel was still a medical student and I was a junior lecturer, money was in short supply. But it was a happy house in the main. The billboard provides its own commentary : laughing it, playing it ..... rocking it, rolling it, loving it.

  3. Nice shot, Alan, and happy memories I'm sure. Is the car an Austin 1100 by any chance?

  4. It is good to see where you were and where you have ended up now. A lot of history with the looks of the apartments.

  5. Here they're called town houses. My daughter had one for 8 years. Yours has more style with the brick and chimney.

  6. I think it's a most lovely house, and can just tell it made a perfect place to begin your life, and make it home sweet home- sign and all. I especially like the path, and can imagine you walked it many times too!

  7. What a well placed billboard. Do you have the corresponding view from the bedroom window towards the path?
